AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: Kropz and Nexus Infrastructure hit by delays

9th Aug 2022 11:01

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Tuesday.

----------

AIM - WINNERS

----------

Cordel Group PLC, up 27% at 6.69 pence, 12-month range 4.00p-16.25p. The transport-focused artificial intelligence firm wins a five-year contract with London-based stock rolling firm Angel Trains for the installation of automated hardware on passenger trains. Cordel's Light Detection & Ranging and imagery capture technology will be installed on passenger trains operated by Great Western Railways. This will allow for real-time track monitoring of Network Rail's infrastructure, reducing the need for special measurement trains.

----------

Crestchic PLC, up 16% at 227.72 pence, 12-month range 102.00p-238.00p. The Burton-on-Trent-based industrial equipment supplier ups profit guidance again. Crestchic says strong trading in the first quarter of 2022 accelerates in the second. "Pipelines for both hire and sales were sufficiently robust for the board to increase further the group's outlook for the current year as a whole," Crestchic says.

----------

AIM - LOSERS

----------

Nexus Infrastructure PLC, down 15% at 141.50p, 12-month range 141.50p-250.00p. The infrastructure services provider is trading at a 12-month low after lowering full year guidance due to delays at its eSmart Networks division. eSmart Networks, which focuses on electric vehicle charging infrastructure, has recently experienced some delays in the conversion of its order book to revenue, Nexus says.

----------

Kropz PLC, down 34% at 5.00p, 12-month range 3.75p-15.00p. Kropz reports further delays in the ramp-up of operations at the Elandsfontein asset. The phosphate producer and developer says the most recent delay at its Elandsfontein project has been largely driven by initial ore variability in the current mining area. Kropz says it has found a hard material which cannot be mined using free-digging methods, so new equipment has had to be brought in.
