AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: Frontier Developments sinks on guidance cut

AIM - WINNERS

Botswana Diamonds PLC, up 12% at 1.03 pence, 12-month range 0.61p-1.70p. The diamond explorer reports positive developments from preliminary assessments on its Thorny River diamond prospect. The Ireland-headquartered firm has found much higher volumes than expected of kimberlite in its South Africa prospect. Botswana Diamond now projects a kimberlite volume of 2 million tonnes.

Ten Lifestyle Group PLC, up 8.9% at 110.00p, 12-month range 86.21p-115.95p. The concierge platform says it has won a multi-year client contract with an unnamed private bank and wealth manager in the Americas. The estimated value of the contract is within a range of GBP250,000 and GBP2.0 million. Ten says this has growth potential if the digital launch goes well and the service expands to more private banking customers and geographical areas.

AIM - LOSERS

Frontier Developments PLC, down 25% at 1,319.40p, 12-month range 1,300.00p-3,470.00p. Shares hit 12-month low after video game publisher swings to first half loss. For six months to November 30, swings to pretax loss GBP1.7 million from a profit of GBP6.5 million year before on revenue GBP49.1 million, up from GBP36.9 million. Looking ahead, Frontier now expects financial 2022 revenue in range of GBP100 million to GBP120 million, down from GBP130 million to GBP150 million guided last September. Jefferies also cuts the stock to Hold from Buy.

Accrol Group Holdings PLC, down 18% at 25.12p, 12-month range 22.50p-73.70p. The tissue converter lowers guidance for annual revenue. Accrol now expects revenue to grow by just 17% to GBP160 million in the financial year that ends on April 30 from GBP136.6 million in financial 2021. This is a downgrade from October's more optimistic projection of 25% growth.
