5th May 2021 11:32

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Wednesday.

----------

AIM - WINNERS

----------

Botswana Diamonds PLC, up 26% at 1.29 pence, 12-month range 0.40p-1.34p. The diamond miner reports discovery of new, second kimberlite blow at the Thorny River project in South Africa.

----------

GETECH Group PLC, up 20% at 28.24p, 12-month range 9.06p-46.19p. The geoscience products firm says subsidiary H2 Green Ltd has entered into a non-binding strategic agreement with Element Two Ltd to supply green hydrogen to its refuelling stations.

----------

AIM - LOSERS

----------

Remote Monitored Systems PLC, down 14% at 1.30p, 12-month range 0.2p-6.85p. The survey and inspection services provider says main drivers in recent months have been to strengthen manufacturing and supply chain for main subsidiary Pharm 2 Farm Ltd, develop P2F's sales pipeline, and complete a strategic review of the company. Says P2F is "confident that it now has a smooth running, high-quality supply chain" following manufacturing issues. RMS will now start search for permanent chief executive.

----------

Boohoo Group, down 1.1% at 323.00p, 197.6p-433.50p. The online fashion retailer says it delivered "another set of record results" as the online fashion retailer shrugged off the challenges posed by the pandemic. For the year ended February 28, revenue was up 41% to GBP1.75 billion from GBP1.23 billion the year before, while pretax profit jumped 35% year-on-year to GBP124.7 million from GBP92.2 million. Says although trading in the first few week of current financial year have been encouraging, the economic outlook remains uncertain. Boohoo expects the benefits from reduced returns of unwanted purchases over the year start to unwind, while still experiencing high freight and carriage costs. Boohoo is one of the biggest companies on AIM with a market value of GBP4.1 billion.
