(Alliance News) - ACG Metals Ltd on Tuesday said it produced the first copper concentrate from its Gediktepe mine in Turkey.
The British Virgin Islands-based company, which focuses on acquiring and consolidating copper assets, said operations at the site were progressing as planned.
ACG said it would now move toward full production, expected by the end of 2026, by increasing throughput and optimising plant performance.
Chair and Chief Executive Officer of ACG Artem Volynets said: "Producing our first copper concentrate marks ACG's transition into a copper producer and is a defining milestone for the company."
ACG acquired the Gediktepe mine in September 2024. In July, ACG said it targets an annual production of 20-25 kilotonnes of copper equivalent at Gediktepe. The site produced 39.2 kilo-ounces of gold equivalent in 2025.
Shares in ACG rose 1.5% to 2,100.00 pence on Tuesday afternoon in London.
