(Alliance News) - ACG Acquisition Co Ltd on Friday said Chair Peter Whelan has resigned, effective immediately, while Chief Executive Officer Artem Volynets now also becoming acting chair.
The special purpose acquisition company focused on new economy metals and other mining materials also appointed Fiona Paulus as senior independent director "until further notice".
The board remains otherwise unchanged, it confirmed.
ACG Acquisition said Paulus has over 37 years of global investment banking experience, having held senior management roles with a number of leading international investment banks including Credit Suisse Group AG, ABN AMRO Bank NV, and Citigroup Inc.
Shares in ACG Acquisition were down 2.0% to USD10.00 each in London on Friday afternoon.
