(Alliance News) - Acceler8 Ventures PLC on Thursday completed its all-share acquisition of Intuitive Investments Group PLC, and will consequently relist on the London Main Market as an operating company.
Shares in Manchester, England-based Intuitive Investments were suspended from trading on the specialist fund segment of the London Main Market on Thursday and will be cancelled on Friday.
Meanwhile, shares in investment vehicle Acceler8 Ventures will be cancelled from trading on Friday, and the enlarged company readmitted at the same time under the equity shares (commercial companies) of the Main Market.
The new company will have 752.2 million shares in issue and be worth approximately GBP600 million.
The reverse takeover by Acceler8, announced at the end of June, was pitched to shareholders of the two companies as an efficient way to achieve a move by Intuitive Investments to a commercial companies category listing on the London Main Market from the specialist fund segment. This is intended to broaden the shareholder base of the technology and life sciences investor and improve its valuation.
