LONDON (Alliance News) - Biopharmaceutical technology firm Abzena PLC said on Tuesday that at a court meeting and general meeting held earlier, its acquisition by Astro Bidco Ltd was approved by shareholders.
Astro Bidco Ltd, a firm set up by WCAS XII-Astro LP for the takeover, had offered 16 pence per Abzena share in August, valuing the company at GBP34.4 million.
As a result, Abzena's share on AIM will be cancelled on Friday next week.
Shares in Abzena were untraded on Tuesday, last quoted at 15.80 pence.
