21st Century Tech Shares Rise On Contract With East Sussex Council

2nd Sep 2019 11:04

(Alliance News) - Shares rose in 21st Century Technology PLC on Monday on the signing of a three-year framework agreement with East Sussex County Council, valued at GBP500,000.

Shares in the transport-focused software provider were 11% higher at 3.15 pence on Monday in London.

East Sussex County Council is working alongside Brighton & Hove City Council, West Sussex County Council and Surrey County Council to introduce a new content management system.

Under the framework agreement, which is due to start in September, 21st Century will supply and install its Electronic Passenger Information software platform, which will increase the management system's capabilities in displaying passenger information.

The agreement has an option to extend the agreement by another 12 months to July 2023.

"We are delighted to be working with East Sussex County Council to enhance the capabilities of their passenger information infrastructure throughout the wider region. This award also demonstrates our joint commitments to increasing sustainability through upcycling a number of existing displays from within their legacy estate," said Chief Executive Russ Singleton.

"Our latest high-performance displays technologies and powerful content management software are all backed-up by our dedicated maintenance teams and on-line support systems," Singleton added.
