Ryanair Holdings PLC - Dublin-based budget airline - Flies 14.2 million passengers in April with a load factor of 91%, improved on both counts from 11.2 million passengers at 87% capacity in March. The company said it operated 82,600 flights in April. It noted that March traffic was hurt by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, with 2,000 flights to and from Ukraine cancelled that month by airspace closures. By comparison, Ryanair flew only 1.0 million passengers in April of last year, amid continued Covid-19 restrictions at the time. On a rolling 12-month basis, Ryanair has carried 110.2 million passengers at an 83% load factor, up from 28.5 million at 71% in the 12 months to April 2021. Read More
