Round Hill Music Royalty Fund Ltd - private equity firm investing in revenue-generating music copyright assets - Takeover by Concord Cadence Ltd, owned by Alchemy Copyrights LLC which trades as Concord, is now complete. Round Hill shares are suspended from trading in London, effective immediately. They will be cancelled on Wednesday morning. Round Hill Music Royalty Fund Ltd - investor in music catalogues, has a portfolio which includes songs by artists such as Dion, Carrie Underwood, The Supremes, Bonnie Tyler and Bruno Mars - Reports net revenue in the first quarter to March 31 increases 94% to USD10.2 million from USD5.3 million in the same period the year prior, whilst masters revenue increases 40% to USD2.4 million from USD1.7 million. Publishing revenue more than doubles, shooting up to USD6.4 million from USD3.1 million. The company's initial investment revenue rises 20% to USD6.2 million from USD5.2 million the prior year. Round Hill Music Royalty Fund Ltd - Guernsey-based investor in music copyright assets - Announces further independent valuation report on its portfolio of music rights from FTI Consulting Inc. Notes valuation reaffirms findings of previous report by Citrin Cooperman. Adds FTI provided two valuations: one based on a transaction using financing with traditional bank debt and one financed through an asset backed securitisation structure. The first valued the portfolio excluding the Carlin interest at USD523 million, and USD587 million with the interest, 3% below the Citrin valuation. The second valued the portfolio at a total USD678 million, a 13% premium to the Citrin estimate. Josh Gruss, CEO of Round Hill Music LP, the company's investment manager, said the valuation "supports our strong view that the Round Hill Music portfolio is significantly undervalued by the market and therefore offers considerable upside potential".
