These contracts not only broaden the Company's reach in thisimportant market, but also extend and endorse the Company's service offering inthe space. The integrated highway services company A-one has awarded a contract valued at£120,000 to Yotta DCL for a 350km network length survey of the Highways AgencyArea 14. The survey will use Yotta DCL's groundbreaking Nano technology withhigh-resolution 360-degree photography for precision mapping of the highwayinventory in Area 14 which covers Northumberland, Tyne & Wear and Durham. Thesurvey will collate details of highway assets in that Area including signs, roadmarkings, lampposts and safety barriers. Yotta DCL will provide A-one with a pixel-by-pixel accurate picture of existinginventory to compare with data held on the Highways Agency's computer system.The additional benefits for A-one of Yotta DCL's unique digital asset collectionsurvey are speed, safety, lack of disruption to road users and lower cost. This survey award follows the contract won by Yotta DCL in December 2007 tosupply A-one's sister company, A-one+, with a similar survey of Highways AgencyArea 10. As part of this engagement, Yotta DCL staff and technology are alreadysurveying over 530km of road network in England's North West. Today, OMG ispleased to announce that A-one+ has elected to take a new, further service fromYotta DCL valued at £170,000 to process the video data captured during thecourse of that Area 10 survey.
