XCHANGING RENEWS AUSTRALIAN WORKERS' COMPENSATION CONTRACT
Xchanging plc ('Xchanging'), the global business processor, has renewed its contract with WorkSafe Victoria, the statutory authority delivering workplace safety, quality care and insurance protection to workers and employers in the state of Victoria, Australia.
After the current contract expires on 30 June 2011, under the renewed contract, Xchanging will continue to provide claims and risk management services on behalf of WorkSafe Victoria for a further 5 years to 30 June 2016. In line with our expectations the contract has been renewed on substantially similar terms.
Since the current contract commenced in July 2002, Xchanging has provided a number of services to WorkSafe including registering and maintaining employer insurance policies, collecting premiums, managing claims in accordance with the WorkSafe legislation and policies, and providing claims and risk management services to employers.
Ken Lever, Acting Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer said: "We are very pleased to have renewed this contract which continues our existing relationship with WorkSafe Victoria and supports our current outlook for 2011".
