Wireless users in Wyoming are now experiencing increased coveragethanks to a new cell site in downtown Laramie and an agreement thatexpands coverage in Cheyenne, Casper, Sheridan, Gillette and acrossthe state. The Laramie site boosts coverage near Grand Avenue and 2ndStreet. The statewide expansion allows Verizon Wireless customers tomake more calls in more areas without incurring roaming fees. £ "We continue to make a significant investment in our wirelessnetwork in Wyoming to stay ahead of the growth in demand for ourproducts and services," said Jeff Mango, regional president of VerizonWireless. "We are pleased to be able to expand our network coverageand increase the overall calling area for our customers in Wyoming." £ Dial "*228" to be sure £ To fully benefit from the network expansion, existing VerizonWireless customers must dial "*228," press send, then select "Option2" from the voice menu. This call will update the software in thehandset to recognize the expanded coverage.
