WYG Awarded Western Balkans Investment Framework Contract

WYG plc, the global management and technical consultancy to the built and natural environment, is pleased to announce it has been awarded a Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF) contract by the European Commission.

 

WYG is part of a consortium, led by Mott MacDonald and which includes Atkins, to provide technical assistance to the Infrastructure Projects' Facility (IPF) of the WBIF, whose aim is to strengthen essential infrastructure across the Western Balkans.

 

By utilising the Group's strong experience in transport, environment and energy WYG will provide technical support and advice ranging from pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, economic and financial analysis, environmental and socio-economical impact assessments, preliminary and detailed design drawings and supervision of works, to assess the technical, economic and financial strength of projects.

 

Paul Hamer, Chief Executive Officer, said:

It is a testament of our work and reaffirms our commitment to the region to be appointed onto the third phase of such a significant programme following our continued support throughout phase I/II.
