Wizz Air: Enhanced Leadership Team
Geneva, 24th November 2025: Wizz Air (LSE: WZZ.L), ("Wizz Air") Europe's most emissions efficient airline* and winner of the Airline Economics Sustainability Airline of the Year 2025, is pleased to announce the following changes to its Senior Leadership Team. These changes will take effect from 1 February 2026.
Ian Malin, currently Chief Financial Officer, will be appointed as Chief Commercial Officer. Based in Budapest, Ian will assume overall responsibility for the Group's commercial functions and revenue generation. Placing the commercial team under the direction of a proven leader will support Wizz Air's delivery of profitable capacity growth. As Chief Commercial Officer, Ian will report to the Chief Executive Officer on matters related to commercial strategy.
Veronika Špaňárová will be appointed as Chief Financial Officer, based in Budapest. Veronika, a Czech national will join Wizz Air following a 30-year international career at Citi having worked in corporate and retail banking across a number of countries including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Brazil and Hungary where she has been Citi's Managing Director, country manager and Wizz Air's banker. Veronika will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
Michael Delehant's role, currently Senior Chief Commercial and Operations Officer, will be renamed as Group Managing Director, with no change to scope and responsibilities.

Ian has made an exceptional contribution to Wizz Air since joining as CFO three years ago, demonstrating his tenacity and knowledge of the company and sector. Alongside Ian, we welcome Veronika who will provide a new source of expertise for the Company. These leadership enhancements underpin our ambition to become one of the best performing airlines globally in the coming years."
