Withdrawal of Holding(s) in Company Announcement

Spectris plc Withdrawal of Notification of Major Interest in Shares Massachusetts Financial Services Company ("MFS") has contacted Spectris plc("Spectris") to withdraw the Notification of Major Interest in Shares dated 6March 2015 in which MFS notified Spectris that it controlled 10.0924% of thevoting rights in Spectris as of 4 March 2015 (the "March TR-1 Notification"). MFS has indicated to Spectris that the March TR-1 Notification was not accurateas the total voting rights controlled by MFS as of 4 March 2015 was 9.58%.
