Withdrawal of General Meeting Requisition

The Directors of East West Resources plc are pleased to announce that following the appointment of Nicolas François Marie Rouveyre as a Non-Executive Director of the Company announced today, Consolidated General Minerals plc ("CGM") has withdrawn its notice requisitioning a general meeting of the Company for the purposes referred to in the Company's announcement of 7 September 2012. As a result, the Board will not be calling this general meeting and CGM have confirmed that it will not seek to exercise its rights under section 305 Companies Act 2006 to call the meeting itself.
