Verizon Wireless has activated a new cell site in Connellsville,increasing network coverage and capacity in the town and nearbyportions of Fayette County. £ The network enhancement enables more Verizon Wireless customers touse their wireless phones to make calls; send and receive email andtext, picture and video messages; and download games and ringtoneswhile enjoying clearer reception and fewer dropped calls. £ This new cell site improves Verizon Wireless' voice and datanetwork throughout Connellsville and extends service along U.S. Route119 from the town of Moyer southwest through Connellsville to DunbarRoad.
