Cobham Wins £10M UK Flight Inspection Services Contract

Wimborne, United Kingdom - Cobham is pleased to announce the award of a £10+ million four year contract, with an additional two one-year options, for the provision of a flight inspection service to the UK Ministry of Defence. The contract covers the calibration of navigation and landing aids at all of the UK MoD's airfields worldwide from the Falklands Islands to Afghanistan. In winning this competitively procured contract, Cobham's Flight Inspection business has demonstrated its capability as the leading provider of flight inspection services in UK and Europe, to both civil and military customers. These services are delivered by Cobham staff and aircraft under a flexible tasking arrangement that provides value for money for the UK MoD.
