Whitbread Scrip Dividend Scheme

Application has been made for 241,902 Ordinary shares of 76 122/153 pence each in Whitbread PLC to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.

These shares will be issued pursuant to the Whitbread PLC scrip dividend scheme in respect of the interim dividend for the half year ended 30 August 2012

They will rank equally in all respects (including as to voting rights) with the existing issued Ordinary shares.

Dealings in the shares are expected to commence on 10 January 2013.
