Dragon Oil PLC19 September 2006 PRESS RELEASE DRAGON OIL plc Dragon Oil Plc ("Dragon") 2006 WELL WORKOVER PROGRAMME: UPDATE Dragon announces that the programme has continued successfully with the workoverof well LAM21/107 in the Cheleken Contract Area, offshore Turkmenistan.Reservoir intervals in zone 4 were perforated resulting in an incrementalproduction gain of 626 barrels of oil per day. The activity was conducted usingwireline operations and did not require use of the hydraulic workover unit The workover programme will continue using both the hydraulic workover unit andwireline operations.
