VTB obtained controlling stakes in 11 alcoholic beverage producers In accordance with the Russian government resolution regarding the redeeming of debt of the state-owned alcohol production holding Rosspirtprom to JSC Bank VTB, the bank has obtained controlling stakes in 11 alcoholic beverage producers. Specifically, the bank received 51% stakes in Moscow-based alcoholic beverage producer Cristall and 10 regional alcoholic drink producers including Astrakhan Distillery, Bahus, Bryanskspirtprom, Velikoustyugskiy Distillery, Itkoul Distillery, Lyuks, Mordovspirt, Penzaspirtprom, Cherepovetsky LVZ and Yaroslavskiy Distillery.
