Audioboom's Video Strategy Delivers Positive Results
Audioboom (AIM: BOOM), the leading global podcast company, is pleased to announce key milestones and data points connected to the growth of its podcast video operations.
Audioboom, and its recently acquired British podcast network Adelicious, continue to develop their video strategy and platform capabilities as production and consumption of video podcasting accelerates.
- In June 2025, more than 60% of podcasters on the Audioboom Creator Network produced video versions of their podcasts
- More than 13% of Audioboom Creator Network revenue was generated from video in June
- Video podcasts were viewed more than 22 million times in June 2025, contributing 20% of all podcast consumption across Audioboom and Adelicious
- Audioboom's monetisation platform delivered revenue streams including sponsorships and subscription payments for video creators
- The network delivered RPM (Revenue Per 1000 Views) for video of US$40.74 in June, the result of a company initiative launched in 2024 to develop a market-leading video strategy
- Audioboom publishes 11 of the top 100 video podcasts on the Youtube Weekly Podcast Chart in the US
The Edison Research Podcast Consumer study, published in July 2025, highlights the significant role played by video in podcasting, with 26% of US adults now consuming video podcasts on a weekly basis, and 31% of US podcast consumers discovering new podcasts through video platforms.
