Vice Chairman requests Leave of Absence

On 9 October 2014, Grupo Clarín S.A. (the "Company") informed the Argentine Securities Commission and the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange that on 8 October 2014 the Company had received a notice from Mr. Alejandro Alberto Urricelqui, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, requesting-for personal and labor reasons-a leave of absence from his position from 9 October 2014 up to and including 26 October 2014, automatically reassuming his position on 27 October 2014.

Mr. Urricelqui will be replaced by Mr. Sebastián Bardengo, alternate member of the Board of Directors, pursuant to the Argentine Corporate Law, the Bylaws of the Company and the decision adopted at the General Annual Ordinary Shareholders' Meeting held on 29 April 2014.
