Verizon's Statement on the AWS-3 Auction Results NEW YORK, Feb. 2, 2015 -- The FCC today announced results of its auction ofAWS-3 spectrum, and Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE, Nasdaq: VZ) has won atotal of 181 licenses with an aggregate bid price of $10.4 billion. These licenses are in markets covering 192 million POPs, or 61 percent of theUnited States. In compliance with the FCC's anti-collusion quiet period rules, Verizon cannotcomment further until that period ends, at 6 p.m. Eastern Time on Feb. 13,2015. Verizon Communications Inc.
