Verizon Wireless customers in more Idaho locations can now accesse-mail, everyday corporate data, the Internet and more at fasterspeeds; check out video on their phones; download music right over theair; and play 3D games -- as Verizon Wireless expands its wirelesshigh-speed broadband network in the surrounding areas of Boise-Nampa,Idaho Falls and Twin Falls. The company's wireless broadband networkallows customers to access BroadbandAccess on their laptops, e-mail ontheir PDAs and V CAST Video and Music on their wireless phones. £ The wireless broadband network coverage area in the state nowextends to: £ -- Boise-Nampa area, including the towns of Donnelly, Mountain Home and Weiser £ -- Idaho Falls area, including the towns of Victor and Blackfoot £ -- Twin Falls area, including the towns of Gooding and Hagerman £ Based on CDMA 1x Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) Revision (Rev.)A technology, the wireless broadband network provides Verizon Wirelesscustomers in Boise-Nampa, Idaho Falls and Twin Falls areas with datauplink speeds significantly faster than the company's award-winningnational EV-DO network, which the company rolled out in Idaho inSeptember 2006. £ BroadbandAccess £ The company's flagship business data service, BroadbandAccess,provides average download speeds of 600 kilobits per second (kbps) to1.4 megabits and average upload speeds of 500-800 kbps, which meanscustomers with Rev.
