On October 8, 2010 Verizon Communications Inc. (Verizon) filed a Current Report on Form 8-K with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to provide selected unaudited consolidated financial information of Verizon, for the past six quarters, that excludes the results of the wireless overlapping properties divested in the first half of 2010, and the spinoff of certain local exchange and related landline assets that occurred in July 2010.
