TyraTech, Inc. (AIM: TYR and TYRU), a life sciences company focused on nature-derived insect and parasite control products, is pleased to announce that its Vamousse head lice Protection Shampoo will be available at Walmart stores nationwide in the USA from April 2015 and that its Vamousse head lice products are now distributed by Cardinal Health, the third biggest distributor of pharmaceutical products in the USA.

This new listing for Vamousse Protection Shampoo at Walmart comes a year after the successful launch of the Vamousse Treatment product in Walmart stores in the USA. Vamousse head lice Protection Shampoo has been specifically designed to eliminate any stray lice on the head before a full infestation can take hold, which typically takes 2 to 4 weeks to show up. With its innovative, non-toxic formula, Vamousse head lice Protection Shampoo is a safe and efficacious alternative to synthetic pesticide-based products.

The current head lice market in the USA, estimated by management at $150m, is mainly driven by treatment products that are used on a reactive basis, when children are discovered to be hosting head lice and their eggs. Management believes there is potentially a much bigger untapped market of products that protect children and families at risk of infestation.

The Company is also pleased to announce that its Vamousse range of products is now distributed by Cardinal Health, the third biggest distributor of pharmaceutical products in the USA. This important listing with Cardinal Health will present the opportunity for Vamousse to reach more than 9,000 independent retail pharmacies in the USA. This agreement follows the distribution for Vamousse obtained with McKesson at the end of last year. McKesson is the biggest distributor in the USA and serves more than 12,000 independently owned pharmacies. 

Vamousse products are also available on amazon.com and drugstore.com in the USA and at Boots, Superdrug, Sainsbury's, Tesco, and Rowlands in the UK as well as other independent pharmacies.
