Hon Hai signed an MoU on green power purchase with Foxwell Power, the subsidiary of Shinfox Energy (TWSE: 6806). This year, Hon Hai plans to purchase 2.36 million kWh of green power for the campuses in Taiwan. In 2030, Hon Hai's purchases of green power will amount to 70 million kWh, which will help reduce 35,140 metric tons of CO2 emissions, with equivalent effect of planting 2.92 million trees.
