United States Air Force Extends SimiGon Inc. Support Contract
SimiGon, Ltd. (LSE: SIM), a global leader in modeling, simulation and training solutions, is pleased to announce that its independently operated US subsidiary, SimiGon Inc., has been awarded a one-year support contract for SimiGon's SIMbox software, used in T-6A Level 5 FAA Compliant Flight Training devices (the "Contract"), a key component of the United States Air Force (USAF) Undergraduate Remotely Piloted Aircraft Training (URT) program (the "URT Program").
SimiGon has provided a 98% availability rate for the sixteen (16) SIMbox-based T-6A Level 5 Flight Training Devices. This high simulator availability rate is critical to maintain one of the highest student graduation rates in the USAF.
SimiGon Inc. President, Jack Sarnicki, said: "The Contract further demonstrates the USAF's confidence in our simulation and training capabilities. This is a program of great national security importance, the training of Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps RPA pilots. SimiGon Inc.'s capabilities grow with the high ops tempo of the program. Our support is for the software ecosystem. We expect this Contract to lead to additional USAF opportunities and in the wider RPA community."
