Uranium Licences Update

Murchison United NL10 August 2006 ASX, AIM and Media Release 10th August 2006 GUINEA URANIUM EXPLORATION LICENCES UPDATE Murchison United NL ("Murchison" or "The Company") (ASX:MUR, AIM:MUU) is pleasedto announce that it has been granted two additional Exploration permits by theRepublic of Guinea covering an additional 584 square kilometres. As previouslyadvised the Company held six exploration permits over three separate concessionsknown as Firawa, Bohodou and Sesse. Based on work to date in the Firawa andBohodou concessions Mr Bosse Gustafsson, Exploration Manager, was keen to secureprospective areas adjacent to the initial permitted areas. As such applicationwas made and permits granted covering an additional 108 square kilometres to theBohodou concession (now totals 1081.32 square kilometres) and an additional 476square kilometres to the Firawa concession (now totals 1,516 square kilometres). In addition, based on field work undertaken by Mr Gustafsson the licences havebeen extended to include Rare Earth Elements.
