Stanelco PLC22 June 2005 22 June 2005 Stanelco confirms Second Order for GREENSEALTechnology from ASDA Supplier Following a successful trial on a Proseal Tray lidding machine at Hitchen Foodsplc, Stanelco are pleased to announce that it has received a conditional orderfor 4 GREENSEAL retrofits subject to technical sign off of the first unit duringthe commissioning trial period. Stanelco, the RF applications group is pleased to announce that it has agreed tosupply its revolutionary GREENSEAL technology to Hitchen Foods for the first ofpotentially 4 machines in their ASDA salad production area within Hitchen Foodsplc, Dobson Park Way, Manchester Road, Wigan, WN2 2DX. This order is subject toa final technical sign off on the first machine once it is installed in theproduction area and has operated satisfactorily for an agreed period of time.Upon sign off, the company will be looking to proceed to retrofit the remaining3 machines in this section subject to the commercial agreement from Asda. This could lead to asnowball effect as pack houses become more comfortable with this revolutionarymethod of eliminating leaking packs within the food packaging market."
