Update on the Proposed Admission to AIM 

Further to the Company's announcement published at 11:30 a.m. on 31 January 2019, United Oil & Gas Plc, the oil and gas exploration and development company, is pleased to announce that the Board has applied for the Company's Ordinary Shares of 1p each ('Ordinary Shares') to be admitted to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange ('Admission'). In conjunction with this, the Company has requested the cancellation of its Ordinary Shares from the standard segment of the Official List and from trading on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market for listed securities ('Cancellation'). It is anticipated that the last day of dealings on the Main Market will be 28 February 2019 and the Cancellation will be effective at 8:00 a.m. on 1 March 2019, which is simultaneous with the Admission becoming effective and dealings on AIM commencing at 8:00 a.m. on 1 March 2019. The Board believes that the move to AIM is in the best interests of the Company and its shareholders as, in the opinion of the Directors, AIM represents a better fit for fast growing companies of United's size.
