Ten Alps plc

Update on Online Channel Activities

Ten Alps Plc (AIM:TAL) ("Ten Alps" or the "Company"), the factual media company, updates on its online channel development further to the announcement of 11 February 2009 regarding the Company's investment in new multiplatform channels for both its TV and trade media content.

Highlights

Next generation Teachers TV website will be launched this week (www.teachers.tv). Its features include intelligent search, large video player, fast navigation, subject-focused groups and competitions. Last month, Teachers TV won Best Specialist Channel at the Broadcast Digital Awards and three Royal Television Society education awards

The Link2 portal is expected to launch in September 2009, aggregating the content of approximately 400 trade titles online in a searchable, multiplatform format (including video) with sector specific zones including trade, skills, business, energy and environment

Accy TV, the online training channel for accountants based on a subscription model, is under construction and the first working version is expected to be launched in Autumn 2009

Newton TV, the online science channel, being developed in partnership with the Open University and the Science Museum, is also expected to reach its first online stage in Autumn 2009

The Company is launching several video-rich publications such as Business Today (www.ukbusiness-today.co.uk) as e-books

A project to exploit Ten Alps' back catalogue of over 500 documentaries online is in progress. The Company anticipates signing a distribution deal with a third party to enhance this process. This is expected to be followed by digitisation, online hosting and commercial pay-per-view exploitation of these documentaries

The Directors have additionally commenced research into an innovative Jobs and Entrepreneurship online media project which will be aimed at getting Britain back to work

The Directors anticipate that all of these projects will be delivered as planned, subject to technical and commercial evaluation of each online channel during the pilot/beta stage.
