("Urals Energy" or the "Company")
Update on Appointment of Nominated Adviser and Broker
Following the resignation of Urals Energy's previous nominated adviser and broker ("Nomad" and "Broker"), Urals Energy confirms that it is currently in discussions with potential replacement Nomads and Brokers, who are in the process of undertaking standard due diligence on the Company.
The Company's shares are currently suspended from trading following the passing of the 30 June 2009 deadline for the filing of annual accounts for the year ended 31 December 2008. As previously announced, the Company is working on a divestiture transaction with Sberbank and expects to issue its 2008 financial statements shortly.
A further announcement regarding the appointment of Nomad and Broker will be made in due course.
