UPDATE ON NOMAD AND BROKER POSITION

Porton Down, UK, 19 November 2010: GW Pharmaceuticals (AIM: GWP) hereby provides notification that, following the announcement by Piper Jaffray & Co. on 20 October 2010 that it is discontinuing its equities distribution operations in Europe, Piper Jaffray Ltd. has informed GW that it is no longer able to act as a broker to AIM listed companies in the UK. Piper Jaffray Ltd. has therefore resigned as the Company's broker with immediate effect but will continue to act as the Company's NOMAD until an alternative NOMAD and broker is appointed.

The Company is in discussions with alternative advisers and intends to retain a new NOMAD and Broker before the end of the calendar year.
