Update on Net Asset Value and Change of Adviser
Japan Residential Investment Company Limited (AIM: JRIC) is a closed-ended Guernsey registered company established to make and hold investments in residential property in Japan.
The Net Asset Value ("NAV") for the Company as of 31 August 2013 (unaudited) was 61.5 pence per share (¥93.6 per share) compared to 62.4 pence per share (¥95.3 per share) as at 31 May 2013. This NAV reflects increases of 0.6 pence from underlying profit and 0.3p due to net foreign exchange gains as well as a decrease of 1.8 pence following the dividend payment. The calculation of NAV is based on the most recent external valuation of investment properties as at 31 May 2013.
The Net Asset Value in Sterling is determined using the Yen: Sterling exchange rate of JPY152.194, which was the prevailing rate as at 31 August 2013 (31 May 2013: JPY152.676).
Change of Broker
The Company also announces that Liberum Capital Limited has today become the Company's sole corporate broker.
