Bovis Homes Group PLC Update on major development scheme at Filton Airfield, Bristol 9 November 2007 Further to the update provided at the Analysts and Investor meeting on Wednesday7 November, Bovis Homes Group PLC ("The Group") is pleased to be able to confirmthat its scheme at North Field, Filton Airfield, Bristol was agreed to by thePlanning Committee of South Gloucestershire County Council yesterday evening. This agreement, in the form of a resolution to grant consent, is a major stepforward in the achievement of an exciting major scheme for 2,200 new homes inNorth Bristol, which will feature the ancillary creation of new business andemployment opportunities and the improvement of educational, community andrecreational facilities, as well as contributing to the regeneration of itslocal neighbourhood. The commitment of the Group to sustainable development is evident in theprovision of landscaping and open green spaces and the retention of existingancient hedgerows and trees, including Filton Wood. The scheme also provides fora substantial contribution to the stock of affordable housing in the area andfor dedicated bus and pedestrian links.
