Cluff Gold PLC29 June 2005 29 June 2005 AIM: CLF CLUFF GOLD PLC Opening Ceremony held at Kalsaka in Burkina Faso Cluff Gold Plc ("Cluff" or "the Company") announces that a ceremony was held on27th June 2005 to mark the inauguration of the first phase of the development ofthe Kalsaka Gold Deposit in Burkina Faso. The inauguration was attended by theMinister of Mines and Agriculture, together with numerous local officials. They were received by the Chairman of Cluff Gold, Mr J. G. Cluff, who expressedthe hope that the mine would be in production by October 2006, producing at arate of 60,000 ounces of gold per annum. The plant will be designed toaccommodate an eventual production capacity of 100,000 ounces per annum. Thefirst phase of the development is largely concerned with site clearance andpreparation. The full feasibility study for the Kalsaka Gold Deposit is nowcomplete and discussions on the project finance will commence forthwith. Mr Cluff commented favourably on the mining investment climate in West Africa ingeneral and in Burkina Faso in particular and looked forward to developing along term relationship with the community of Kalsaka and the Government ofBurkina Faso.
