Ownership in Marfin Investment Group S.A. ("MIG") - Update on Judicial Proceedings

IRF European Finance Investments Ltd ("IRF") announces that the Single Member Court of First Instance of Athens has issued its judgment in respect of IRF's petition for injunction measures concerning the 100.4 million shares in MIG (the "MIG Shares") unilaterally acquired by Piraeus Bank and that it has rejected such petition.

After considering the judgment, IRF continues to firmly believe that the unilateral acquisition of the MIG Shares is unlawful. IRF will be filing a main action at the Athens Multi Member Court of First Instance against Piraeus Bank in relation to this matter.

IRF re-affirms its intention to fully protect its rights and interests against Piraeus Bank by exercising all the rights and remedies available to it. Further IRF stresses that it will be exercising all the rights and remedies available to it in case third parties enter into transactions with Piraeus Bank in relation to the MIG Shares.

IRF will continue to update shareholders of any material ongoing developments.
