UPDATE ON INVESTMENT IN GRAPHMADA GRAPHITE PROJECT

StratMin Global Resources Plc ("StratMin" or the "Company") is pleased to provide an update to shareholders on the Company's investment in Graphmada Equity Pte Ltd ("Graphmada").

Summary

·; Construction and commissioning of 12,000 tonne per annum capacity plant now complete

Graphmada has informed the Company that the construction and commissioning of its graphite processing plant in Madagascar has now been substantially completed. Graphmada is now expected to enter into a phased production schedule over the next two quarters that will see a controlled production ramp up. The Graphmada processing plant utilises conventional crushing and screening processes, and then a flotation circuit to beneficiate the raw graphite ore into high grade graphite concentrate.

In January 2012, the Company announced an investment in Graphmada, an advanced stage graphite mining and production company with operations in Madagascar. StratMin acquired an initial 15% interest and has been working closely with Graphmada to help them achieve the goal of becoming a low-cost producer of premium quality flake graphite for the global market.
