Update on feasibility study
Strategic Natural Resources (AIM:SNRP), 74% owner of coal exploration and production assets located near Indwe in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa, is pleased to announce that it has received the washability and market application studies. This represents the third and final stage of the feasibility study into the export of coal from Elitheni Coal's mine (the "Feasibility Study"). The Board of SNR are currently reviewing these studies and expect to be in a position provide a full update on the outcome of the Feasibility Study to the market by the end of October.
David Nel, CEO of SNR, commented: "We are delighted to receive the final part of our feasibility study and our initial review confirms that this supports the Boards previously held expectations for the export feasibility of Elitheni Coal, in addition to providing additional opportunity which the board will soon be in a position to report on."
