UK INVESTOR TRIP

Tesco PLC is today hosting an event for investors and analysts, including site visits to our UK operations.

During the day, Philip Clarke, Laurie McIlwee and members of the UK management team will host a tour which will show attendees some of the progress we have made so far on our six-part plan to Build a Better Tesco in the UK.

No new material information will be disclosed during the event and materials used will be made available on our website from 9.30am at www.tescoplc.com/investors .

Our next update to the market will be our Third Quarter Interim Management Statement, which will be released on 5 December 2012.
