UK GOVERNMENT FEED-IN TARIFF CLARIFICATION
On 1 February 2010, Ceramic Fuel Cells welcomed the introduction of a UK feed-in tariff for small scale power and heat generators. The Company's release to the market on 1 February 2010 referred to an export tariff of 5 pence per kilowatt hour. This figure was based on UK Government consultation papers.
Based on further information from the Department of Energy and Climate Change website, the final export tariff is 3 pence per kilowatt hour, however this rate increases each year in line with the inflation rate.
