Ubisense wins >€1m contract for Smart Factory System with Large European Automotive Manufacturer

Cambridge, UK - Ubisense Group plc ("Ubisense" or the "Company") (LSE: UBI), a market leader in location-based smart technology, is pleased to announce that another large European automotive manufacturer has selected the Ubisense Smart Factory System to be deployed across its assembly lines.

Following a successful pilot installation at the plant, which demonstrated significant business benefit, particularly when integrated with the company's existing MES, the manufacturer has now chosen to roll out the Ubisense Smart Factory System across one of its assembly plants.

The Smart Factory System allows manufacturers to track everything inside their facility, from the moment that goods come into the site, to the time they leave as complete vehicles. The system adds significant value by eliminating non-value added processes, such as scanning or searching, and by error proofing work processes therefore increasing quality and productivity.
