TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
Amlin plc ("Amlin") announces that on 12 June 2009 it transferred from treasury to participants in its employee share option scheme(s), the following numbers of its ordinary shares of 28.125 pence each ("ordinary shares"):
10,647 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 110.82 pence per share
Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, Amlin holds a total of 8,105,314 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 493,970,692 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
