TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
Amlin plc ("Amlin") announces that on 20 November 2008 it transferred from treasury to participants in its employee share option scheme(s), the following numbers of its ordinary shares of 28.125 pence each ("ordinary shares"):
13,126 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 76.33 pence per share;
2,080 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 108.09 pence per share; and
45,817 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 161.77 pence per share.
Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, Amlin holds a total of 9,547,010 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 469,026,429 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
