Transfer of Treasury Shares

ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on September 16th, 2009 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

11,718 ordinary shares at 19.00 pence per share

11,814 ordinary shares at 22.00 pence per share

10,000 ordinary shares at 25.00 pence per share

5,000 ordinary shares at 47.00 pence per share

3,372 ordinary shares at 70.00 pence per share

296,338 ordinary shares at 105.50 pence per share

5,000 ordinary shares at 118.50 pence per share

995 ordinary shares at 125.00 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 70,276,047

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,273,779,649.
