Treasury shares

On 5 February 2016, the Company transferred a total of 10,412 shares as follows:

· 8,012 ordinary shares at £2.74 per share to participants in its 2012 Sharesave Scheme;

· 2,235 ordinary shares at £3.02 per share to a participant in its 2014 Sharesave Scheme; and

· 165 ordinary shares at £4.52 per share to a participant in its 2015 Sharesave Scheme.

These shares were previously held as treasury shares.

Following the above transactions, the Company holds 12,989,487 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 651,547,519 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
