Transfer of Treasury Shares

ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on 30th April 2009, the following ordinary shares were transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share option scheme allotments:

144,561 ordinary shares at 22 pence per share

97,644 ordinary shares at 25 pence per share

5,000 ordinary shares at 38 pence per share

167,571 ordinary shares at 44 pence per share

111,951 ordinary shares at 47 pence per share

100,000 ordinary shares at 60 pence per share

20,000 ordinary shares at 65 pence per share

92,502 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share

20,000 ordinary shares at 81 pence per share

1,250 ordinary shares at 95 pence per share

476,473 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 82,696,401 

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,261,359,295.
